Beauty Tips

Waxing

Please try shower/bath beforehand as the warmth from the water opens the pores, and it’s best to not shower/bath for 12 hours afterwards due to skin sensitivity and the aftercare to avoid any heat also.

Eye treatments

Book any waxing, or tinting a couple days before a special occasion or holiday, to allow for redness to go down, which is a normal reaction

Party lashes booked?

Please book these for as close to an occasion as possible for best results of longevity

Shellac Manicure/pedicure

Please apply, and add cuticle oil twice daily to cuticles to help nails with both lasting well, conditioning cuticles and giving more flexibility and wear to nails

Tanning

Are you tan ready? Are you holiday, party ready? Why not book that glow?

Please exfoliate, and moisturise the night before a tanning appointment. If you’ve any unwanted hair, and have a waxing appointment too please do book this 48 hours before.

Patch Testing
Patch testing is a huge must, need and mandatory as part of my beauty services. This applies to any tinting, waxing or tanning treatment.  Patch testing is something I carry out, which can be carried out anywhere, and takes seconds to complete. It’s massively important due to it being a test for any sensitivities or allergies to the treatments you hope to book and receive. I do keep a strict patch testing protocol in place due to the need to, and I do care about everybody I carry out treatments on. It’s a legal requirement, and skin suddenly can change, due to pregnancy for example. Any lifestyle or life change will require a patch test at least 48 hours beforehand/prior to treatment. If it has been 6 months or more since the previous treatments were carried out then a patch test is required also. Or If ingredients change in products I choose to use. Thank you for understanding these requirements.
